A Voice of Colorado No. 344:

Have you visited Pinewood Reservoir in Larimer County, CO.?

Pinewood Reservoir, once called “Rattlesnake Reservoir” for a denizen, is about 100 acres in size, and is surrounded by about three hundred and thirty acres of public land.

For those seeking quiet at higher altitudes – it has an elevation of 6,580 feet above sea level – activities include no-wake boating, camping, fishing, and hiking – with almost four miles of easy trails.

Located west of Flatiron Reservoir, southwest of Loveland, CO., and northwest of Berthoud, CO. Pinewood Reservoir offers access to altitude without the drive.
