A Voice of Colorado No. 38 Version 5.0:

Elected officials at the state level in Colorado may yet redeem themselves by demonstrating common sense where finances are concerned: Senate Bill 205, which would have used a sales tax increase of .25 of a cent for twenty years to fund a $4 billion bonding measure, was killed by the Senate Transportation Committee.

Although roads do require investment, expecting taxpayers to fund the cost in this manner is not an acceptable approach.
