A Voice of Colorado No. 167 Version 5.0:

In September 1987 a new Loveland Public Library was established in downtown Loveland, in the Civic Center area. Initially it featured 28,000 square feet on one floor. In April 1996 an addition with two floors introduced, and the total floor space was increased to 32,000 square feet.
In 2006 it was recommended that the library plan to add an additional 27,000 square feet to the facility over the next fifteen years. The proposed addition was able to move forward when more than two million dollars in donations were made for the purpose.
